Yoga Helped Me Heal”: A Story from Clara, Sehat Member
A Journey Inward
When Clara first stepped into Sehat’s yoga studio, she wasn’t chasing a fitness goal. She was recovering from burnout — mentally exhausted, emotionally drained, and physically disconnected from her body.
“I had been working non-stop, barely sleeping, and constantly anxious. I thought yoga might help me relax, but I didn’t expect it to transform me,” Clara shares.
Her First Class
Clara attended a gentle Hatha class. She admits she was nervous and unsure if she was doing the poses "right." But something unexpected happened: no one judged, no one rushed. The trainer encouraged everyone to simply breathe and be present.
“I cried during savasana. Not because I was sad, but because I finally let go. It was the first time I felt safe in my body again.”
The Healing Begins
As weeks passed, Clara committed to a regular practice — three classes a week. Her sleep improved, her anxiety softened, and her inner dialogue became kinder.
“Yoga reminded me to pause. To listen. And to treat myself with compassion.”
She particularly loved restorative classes and sunrise flows, which helped her start her days grounded and clear.
A New Chapter
Now, a year later, Clara is one of Sehat’s most active members. She says yoga didn’t fix everything — but it gave her the space and strength to heal at her own pace.
“Sehat felt like home when I had lost touch with myself. The community, the trainers, even the calming music — it all played a part in helping me find balance again.”
Clara’s Advice to Beginners
“You don’t need to be flexible. You don’t need to be calm. You just need to show up — exactly as you are.”
